FREE ENERGY ASSESSMENTS

The Home Energy Round-Up is offering FREE energy assessments ($35 value) to residential units in Walla Walla & Columbia County through December 31st, 2010. Energy assessments identify areas where your home may need energy efficiency improvements and helps you evaluate your energy consumption habits. Assessments may also include energy savings kits (low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators, and Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs), depending on your utility provider, heat source and availability. After December 31st, our Energy Assessment service will be offered for $35.

HOME or BUSINESS PERFORMANCE REVIEWS

For those interested in a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation of the energy efficiency of a home or business, the Home Energy Round-Up is offering Performance Reviews for $150. Performance Reviews will identify the types and cost of weatherization measures needed and determine your potential for savings (energy and utility). Our Performance Reviews are performed by a Building Performance Institute Certified Building Analyst and come with a 100% money back guarantee.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

For residents in our target neighborhoods, we are offering financial assistance on specific energy upgrades, such as floor and attic insulation and duct sealing. Financial assistance through Home Energy Round-Up and utility rebates can cover up to 65% of the cost of these improvements, in most cases. Contact our office for more information about current service area. Our financial assistance is limited and available on a first-come, first-served policy in our targeted neighborhoods. ABOUT HOME ENERGY ROUND-UP

The Home Energy Round-Up will reduce Walla Walla County's consumption of electricity and natural gas by targeting efficiency at both residential and commercial facilities.  This will be accomplished by raising awareness of opportunities to conserve energy via education, assessment/audits to homes and businesses and connecting homeowners and business with qualified contractors to make upgrades.
